[solved] Guidance Needed on Moving Resources Between Subscriptions in Azure Founders Hub After Credit Tier Upgrade

I have a question about the renewal of credits in Azure for Founders Hub and the resources I already have running. I was previously in the $1K credit tier, and I have now been assigned to the $5K credit tier. After activating the new credits, I see that I now have two subscriptions in the Azure portal.

However, I’m unsure if I need to manually move the resources to the new subscription or if it will automatically happen once the initial assigned credits are fully consumed.

When I try to do this from the Azure portal ,for a VM, using the " Subscription(Move)" option, I get the error ResourceMoveValidationFailed. Thank you for your help.

@Franklin Rony Enrrique Cortez Barrera Thanks for your patience!

We checked your profile on our end, you have been assigned to the 5k credit. It looks like that screenshot just tracks usage which also matches what's on your startup profile.

I'm assuming that you must have accidentally created a new subscription that has no usage so far. The easiest solution would be to delete that subscription that you aren't using (the second one that has $0).

Regarding your concern about having a 1k credit previously and now has been assigned to 5k tier - when you subscription gets more credits added and it implies that you have to redeem again. Refer to the benefits FAQ - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-for-startups/get-more-benefits-faq

    Hope this helps!
