Single Server and Flexible server performance

Our application has been hosted in the Azure Environment windows server and Database server. In the month of september, Database has been migrated from single server instance to Flexible server instance.

After the migration , we feel the performance of the application has been reduced.

We have increased the compute+storage of Flexible servers. But no luck.

Any solution for this?

After migrating to Flexible Server, certain settings and configurations might need to be adjusted to better fit the new architecture and your application’s needs.

Connection Pooling: If you're not already using connection pooling, enabling it can significantly reduce overhead caused by opening and closing database connections repeatedly. For PostgreSQL, you can use PgBouncer for connection pooling.

PgBouncer helps in managing a large number of database connections efficiently, which can be particularly helpful in multi-tenant environments or when your application has high concurrency. Flexible Server can support connection pooling, but you should ensure it's configured properly.

We have tried your suggestions but no luck. We are working to separate the issue. Will post the steps that we have followed to mitigate the issue once we implement it.
