Can we setup Multi-Tenant Organization between an EA Tenant and a CSP Tenant?

Wanted to know if there is limitation if we want to setup an MTO between 1 EA tenant and 1 CSP tenant?

Hi Rakesh,

I'm Ankush from Microsoft and I'm glad to help you out.

Unfortunately, no CSP tenant can be part of any MTO structure.

It's not supported yet.

Alright. How about direct B2B collaboration and Cross Tenant synch, without MTO setup? Is that also not supported?

Yes, b2b direct and cross tenant sync can be enabled between those two tenants provided they belong to the same commercial cloud

Thanks for sharing feedback on availability of CSP tenant as part of a MTO Structure where Primary tenant is EA.

Can you please some Microsoft article stating this limitation.

Unsupported scenarios which you listed, I believe doesn't cover use case where MTO Structure Primary Tenant is EA and we want to include a CSP tenant to same MTO.

Thanks for details. Although I need some more advice topic:

Can you share a Microsoft documentation to support that CSP Tenant is not supported by MTO, the Unsupported scenario doesn't cover CSP tenant limitation, hence I am looking for more details.
Is transferring the enrollment from CSP Tenant to EA Tenant a pre-requisite (and supported), before an MTO in setup, so that then the tenant can be moved to MTO.
