Hi Support,

I am reaching out regarding an issue we're experiencing with SharePoint. In our office, which is in the same location, eight of our staff members are unable to use the "Move To" function in SharePoint. When they attempt to move items, the page becomes unresponsive.

All affected users have the same permissions as those who can use this function without issues. We've tried various solutions, including:

  • Clearing browser cache and cookies
  • Updating Chrome
  • Disabling extensions
  • Using Incognito Mode
  • Resetting Chrome settings
  • Testing with another browser (e.g., Microsoft Edge) – same result

Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this?

Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi @Lynn Nguyen ,

    Welcome to Q&A forum!

According to your description, only some employee users encounter this problem, right?

You have also tried many troubleshooting methods, but none of them worked. I also tested it and it did not have the same problem as yours. It works normally. In summary, this seems to be a random issue. We recommend that you wait for some days to see if the problem is solved. In the meantime, you can use PowerShell as a workaround to move the files.

    Good day!
