Second SCCM stand-alone primary site in the same forest

I have a SCCM primary site and it's working well. Now I want to set up my second SCCM stand-alone primary site in the same forest. Will it work as normal? Is there anything I need to pay additional attention to? I don't want to disrupt my first working environment.

    Hi @Zane BC ,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on my experience, we can setup the second SCCM stand-alone primary site in the same forest, just make sure the boundaries do not overlap, and site codes are unique.

If you have overlapping assignment boundaries, they overlap clients will enroll perhaps end up enrolling in the wrong site. We cannot manage a client with two different SCCM sites at the same time.

Multiple SCCM environments can co-exist on the same domain just fine. Once configured correctly, they work fine side-by-side.

Hope it helps. Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,

    Simon
