Unable to add any Purview/Fabric

Hi,

My client has added me to a group in azure portal.

When I try to add any resource, I get the below page instead of a page to add the resource. What access am I missing?

Based on my understanding, your client has added you to a tenant. However, the group you were added to might not have a role that permits resource creation. To create any resource in an Azure subscription, you need to be assigned the Contributor or Owner role.

Hi Bhasker,

Thanks for the reply. There are other people in the group who are able to add Purview/Fabric to Azure. Even if I don't have access to create a new resource, with my current access, which I assume is "Reader", don't you think I should be able to view the resources added by other people.

Hello Faiz,

could you please double-check whether you have 'Reader' access at the tenant or subscription level?
If your 'Reader' access is at the tenant level, you won't be able to view subscription resources.
To access subscription resources, you must have a role assigned at the subscription level.
