How to Retrieve Accounts from the Microsoft Authenticator App on an Old Phone?

After switching to a new phone, a new Microsoft Authenticator app was set up for new passwords and accounts.

However, access to older accounts on the previous phone is needed. Is there a way to retrieve or access the Authenticator app's data from the old phone?

What steps should be taken to regain access?
