Hi Team,
VM has been stopped by the Automation Account and started by Automation account . But VM entered in "The operating system couldn't be loaded because the system register file is missing or container errors ".
We have followed the steps mentioned by Microsoft article "Solution 3: Fix the corrupted hive"
Please let us know the reasons why the VM went to that state ?

I appreciate your efforts in resolving the issue by your won troubleshoot and VM went The operating system couldn't be loaded because of few below reasons.
If the VM is suddenly stopped, such as during a power outage or forced shutdown, it can lead to file system issues, including problems with important registry files.
The virtual hard disk can cause system file errors, which might cause files to get lost or corrupted, including important registry files.
If the VM is running low on resources like CPU, RAM, or disk space, it may not perform correctly.
Updates or patches might cause problems if they are incompatible with the system's current settings.
