In Azure Pipelines avoid Build Validation requeue

Question

Pull request is created for branch FeatureA to Main. This executes Build Validation Pipeline. Last step that the Pipeline performs is creating .xls metric file for changed source files and pushing it to FeatureA branch.

I've set Path Filter (!*.xls) for Build Validation to ignore .xls files.

However changing .xls on FeatureA during Build Validation requeue pipeline which results in loop.

How can I avoid that?
