Gettign latest updated files in azure Pipeline in previuos stage

Question

Hi All,

I have a pipeline with 2 stages. first one to update the version of node package usign git scripts which works fine and upodates version in the branch

next stage is to build and push docker image to azure container, this stage is not getting latest updated files in the previuos stage whicle building but it gets one version prior to the first step

not sure how can I force pipeline to get branch files again before building the docker image

any help is appreciated or if ther is any alternate solution is also helpful
