Third Party API Authorization in Outlook Add-in

I am working on creating an Outlook Add-in that authenticates with a third-party authorization service. Based on the documentation, it appears necessary to use displayDialogAsync to redirect to a page hosted locally within the add-in to handle the authorization process. However, the issue arises after the redirection—messageParent ceases to communicate with the taskpane. Has anyone encountered a similar problem or found a solution for this?
