Hello! How do i turn on Machine Virtualisation?

Hello! I need help with turning on Machine Virtualisation on my laptop.
I have already searched around and know that i need to go into Windows Features >>Virtualisation Platform

But when i turn on Machine Virtualisation, a window appears saying Searching For Files
And this searching pretty much keeps going indefinitely without any progress.
I let the window search for files for a whole hour and still nothing happened....

if someone knows how i can fix this, please tell me. thanks!
