Azure Speech Avatar Live Chat Playground limit

Hi there,

Is there some kind of limit for Azure Speech service playground for testing Live Avatar. I play with the Avatar options, works very nice for quick demos, but if I give long scenario (like prompt) in the settings (box for details about the Avatar), eg if I define a conversation flow, it randomly restarts the conversation from beginning, after asking 4-5 or 6 questions. I wanted to ask, is there some kind of limit to ask and remember questions/answers? Is my approach correct, to use that box as a system prompt and provide all the details. Can I ask there to have memory for past 10 questions ?

Thanks

Hi there Muhammad Shuja

Thanks for using the QandA platform

As you doubted, Yes, there are some limitations, I guess currently, the service does not maintain persistent memory between interactions. So, if you provide a long conversation flow the system may not be able to remember past interactions after a certain point.

Unfortunately, the playground doesn't support maintaining memory across a specified number of questions natively. If you're looking for more advanced memory management, you might need to integrate the Speech API with a custom application.

If this helps kindly accept the answer thanks much.
