Can we get Search Option on Keyvault Page for finding a key

Question

Hi Team,

I just adding a suggestion for improving the feature use on Azure portal . As you know that currently on Key Vault Page no option is available for searching a key by anywhere ,and we have to click LODE MORE links to see more values then need to search , which can be sometime be error prone or wrong approach .

Is it possible to provide Search with Pagination option on that page that will be really helpful for every azure user .

Based on your description, I understand that you are looking for a search option on the Azure Key Vault page in the Azure Portal UI to quickly locate keys, secrets, or certificates. Currently, this feature—a search text box within Azure Key Vault for searching secrets—is not available.

This limitation stems from the design principles of the Key Vault service. Microsoft recommends using one Key Vault per region, per environment, per application to limit the scope of impact in the event of a breach. This approach ensures that each Key Vault contains only a few secrets, keys, or certificates, making a search function unnecessary.

Current State:

As you mentioned, users must click Load More repeatedly and manually search through items, which can be inefficient and error prone.

Suggested Feature:

Search Bar:

• A search bar at the top of the Key Vault items list (keys, secrets, or certificates) to filter results based on partial or full matches of item names or tags.

Pagination:

• Replace the Load More button with a pagination mechanism, allowing users to navigate between pages of results more systematically.

Advanced Filters (Optional):

• Add filters for metadata (ex: created date, last accessed, tags) to further refine the search.
