Hi everyone,

The team is planning to increase the quota for custom neural model training from 20 per calendar month to 40. Could anyone confirm if this will incur additional charges? If yes, could you provide details on the additional costs?

If we are satisfied with the pricing, what steps should we take to request an increase to 40 trainings per month?

Neural models training count is reset every calendar month. Increasing the quota for custom neural model training from 20 to 40 per calendar month will likely incur additional charges as billing method is per hour.

Open a support request to increase the monthly training limit.

Hi Andriy,

Thank you for your response. Can we confirm if the billing is done by the hour or by model count? Because from the other pages we are given (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/document-intelligence/train/custom-neural?view=doc-intel-3.1.0#billing-1) we can see that there is a current model count limit at 20 and if we would like to increase that, we would have to create a support request. However, he information you provided, suggests that billing is done by the hour. Please can we get some clarification.

Azure's Document Intelligence primarily charges for custom neural models on an hourly basis. In the latest version, you can use up to 10 hours of free model training. you are allowed up to 20 build operations per month at no cost. If you need to go beyond this limit, you must submit a support request.
