Unable to delete Azure Subscription

Hello,

I accidently corrupted the ownership of my Subscription. Now neither I can clearly see my Subscription overview, I get a message: UNAUTHORIZED. Insufficient privilege to see the billing data.

If I were to look at Activity log, I see this error: InvalidSubscriptionId: The provided subscription identifier 'subscriptions' is malformed or invalid.

I observe these additional errors:

AuthorizationFailed: The client 'live.com#XYZ.com' with object id 'b19cae6c-01ce-4913-b5f9-48af90c15862' does not have authorization to perform action 'microsoft.insights/eventtypes/values/read' over scope '/subscriptions/899280a7-2701-4ae4-8d38-978af2762673' or the scope is invalid. If access was recently granted, please refresh your credentials.

With all these issues with my Subscription, it doesn't even allow me to delete it.

I can't even a raise a support request due to corrupted Subscription. So the support request just stops.

Would appreciate any help in this direction

From what you have described, it looks like the account you are using is euther a guest that doesnt have the required permissions or you are in the wrong directory.

Can you try this in an incognito tab and verify you are the owner of the subscription? Use the steps here:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/troubleshoot-billing/troubleshoot-account-not-found

I'd also recommend opening a ticket with Azure Billing Support:

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-ca/support/create-ticket

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

    Regards,
