Question

hi,

I cant deploy update any software with SCCM,

I think problem is the connection between the client and SCCM server.

For this communication , port 2701 must be open, which is related to sms service, but this port is not listen on SCCM server although sms servieces is running..

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Port 2701 is required for Remote Control instead of software update.

The required port for SUP is 8530 and 8531:

To check port connectivity from the client, we can run the following command:

telnet SUPSERVER.xxxx.COM 8530
