Hi, I am using Azure managed Grafana.I like to have connectors configurable with metric states( or values), Like direction of the connector arrow changes with a metric. I am using Canvas as Visualizations and the version of Grafana is 10.4.11 pro. I can’t see the corresponding options in Panel configuration. for example, for my connector I can’t find anything to set the direction of arrow can change with a metric. I guess these features are only available in version 11. how can I achieve my goal? Do I have to migrate to self-hosted Grafana to have the feature?

    Hi somayeh mahmoodi

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

To use dynamic connector arrows based on metric states in Azure Managed Grafana, you may need to check your current setup and consider an upgrade.

In Grafana 10.4.11, you can't change the direction of connector arrows based on metrics in the Canvas visualization. The customization options for connectors are limited in this version.

Grafana 11 brings new features, including the ability to set up dynamic connectors based on metrics. If this is important to you, upgrading to Grafana 11 could help. However, Azure Managed Grafana doesn't support all features or custom plugins like the self-hosted version, so your options may still be limited after upgrading.

Migrating to a self-hosted Grafana gives you more flexibility and access to extra features, like custom plugins that can change connector arrow directions based on metrics. However, it also requires more setup and management.
