Set width of Excel Office JS Addin Task Pane

Hello!

As part of our work (I cant disclose much), we'd like to set/customize width of our Excel Office JS TaskPane Addin. This is necessary, because given the content of our addin, the default width of the pane does not work - our content is pretty wide, and user is forced to always expand/widen the pane - not good for our user experience (especially on first load/startup itself)

I have seen several pages online saying this is not supported, is 'by design'. However, we have to get this working. How do we accomplish this right now? How can you help?
