Hello,

All I really want to do is to backup the email I can access via IMAP so I can load it on a new email server.

Thank you.

Jean-Pierre

PS The mail is on a GoDaddy server, accessed via IMAP, the POP interface is missing the "sent".

    Hi @Jean-Pierre Dareys Robertson

    Welcome to our forum!

Are you using Outlook Desktop Client? If so, you may back up your email by going to export and import. More information: Import email, contacts, and calendar from an Outlook .pst file - Microsoft Support

the POP interface is missing the "sent"

This is a common limitation of the POP protocol, as it typically only downloads emails from the Inbox and does not sync other folders like "Sent" or "Drafts".

It is suggested please switch to IMAP, IMAP is designed to sync all your email folders, including "Sent". If possible, switch your email client configuration from POP to IMAP. This will allow you to access all your folders and keep them synchronized across devices.

    Hope it helps!
