Hey there,
I am having a hard time with installing SQL server. I had it installed on my computer previously, however I couldn't get the program to do what I needed it to do. I chalked it up to installation error. I uninstalled the program and tried to reinstall it. However it will not let me reinstall now. I have tried about fifteen times at this point and I have a multitude of assignments due in the next few days. Can someone help? Attached I have the Summary.txt

Beside summary.txt we also like to see detail.txt, which usually points out where things went wrong. Unfortunately, though, it is not always easy to understand the underlying reason for the error. And if you have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled and possibly also done some manual cleanup, the risk is that Setup is now failing because of some remnant from previous attempts.
But attach the files and we'll see.

Not seen the attached file, please double check that. Besides of the Summary.txt, you could also find the Detail.txt file.

2024-12-03T21:38:39.9333333+00:00 You did not share details.txt. But it does looks like one of those errors you get after multiple attempts and the machine has been messed up.

Since you may not have addressed the original cause for the setup failure, Setup may fail again. If this happens, don't make more re-attempts, but share summary.txt and details.txt directly.
