Hi all,

Looking to deploy some branding for Edge within my org. I have created an Edge config profile from the admin center and deployed it to the appropriate groups. As a test case, I double checked that I am a member of the group and I am. What I see however is some portions of the config profile are applying and some are not. The accent color in the flyout is applying however, our org name, org logo and taskbar logo are not applied. This is across all users. I have tried to open up a case with support but that been of zero help with their recommendations including get HAR logs from Chrome!!! Any help would be much appreciated!

Best,

Bipin

    Hi,

I am using edge configuration profile from MAC (M365 admin center), Settings, Microsoft Edge, Configuration profile. Once I am there, I create a configuration profile with org font color, org logo, org name etc. Apply it via group assignment, confirm that I am indeed a member of those groups and I am. Wait for the config to apply and nothing happens. Come into my managed edge browser, sync, restart PC, wait over 48 hours etc still nothing.

    Hi @Prakash, Bipin

I don't have a M365 admin account to test, but I found a useful doc you can refer to: Customize organization branding through the Microsoft Edge management service.

Please note that organization branding via Edge management service is currently not supported for:

    • Microsoft Edge Mobile
    • Microsoft Edge for Business on unmanaged PCs and macOS
    • Customers with an Office 365 GCC or Office 365 GCC High and DoD plan
    • Organization branding isn't applied if:

The taskbar icon overlay is currently not supported for macOS devices. It might also take a couple of restarts upon initial configuration to see your icon overlay updated on the taskbar.
