The automated billing is like a daylight robbery. I trusted linking my card under Azure thinking its safe. As a beginner I merely subscribed for Basic Pay-as-you-go services. After initial few months I am being billed ~ USD 250 and for what God knows? I merely created blobs and have not uploaded a single file yet. What Kind of charges are these?

And Why have I not been informed about the expected monthly cost earlier just for creating some blank folders/ blobs whatever you call it.

I definitely want to use Azure, but not on unfair terms under hidden clauses. I just noticed the bill for Nov'2024. When explored old emails Oct'2024 was already deducted. I could not find the bill for Sep'2024 but if that's also billed and deduced I will sincerely request to refund all these amounts 3 months amount for a services I have never used and likely, never bill after such charges.

  • Nov'2024 Invoice:

Invoice number: G070285859Amount: $235.71 USDBilling period: 01 November 2024 - 30 November 2024- Oct'2024 Invoice:

Invoice number: G066154344 | Amount: $243.58 USD | Billing period: 01 October 2024 - 31 October 2024

  • Sep'2024 Invoice:

I can't afford to pay these amounts. If you can't sort this out ASAP please cancel my subscription and all future billing right away.

    Hello Vivek,

    Thanks for your question.

You will need to contact billing support here:

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket. In the link you need to ensure you are selecting a billing type of ticket. This service is completely free and they will assist you in identifying why or assessing the situation..

In the meantime, I would recommend we find why the costs came about and plug that gap first of all. To review which resources are causing billing, see steps here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/understand/review-individual-bill?source=recommendations

Once these are identified they can be removed while you wait for the support to be provided by the billing team

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

    Regards,

    Abiola
