My computer stopped working and now I'm getting the BSOD. I tried doing a clean install of window 10 with the USB drive I always use but this time it's not working. PC will boot up with the USB, gets to the blue window where you normally get the "Window Setup" popup. Only now that popup never comes on. It just stays on the blue screen and nothing happens. I can see and move my cursor just fine but that's it, nothing else happens. Please help.

What is the error code of the BSOD? Have you tried to update the BIOS? Maybe try to reset the BIOS as well

    Hello,

Try plugging the USB drive into a different port, preferably a port that is directly on the motherboard rather than a front-panel or hub port.

It’s possible that the installation media on your USB drive has become corrupted. Use another working computer to recreate the installation media using the Windows Media Creation Tool.

Disconnect any unnecessary peripherals (printers, webcams, etc.) and external drives (other than the bootable USB).

Reset your BIOS/UEFI settings to default to rule out any misconfiguration that might be affecting the boot process. Additionally, if you have enabled any overclocking, revert those settings to standard to ensure system stability.

Secure Boot and CSM (Compatibility Support Module): If enabled, try disabling Secure Boot from the BIOS/UEFI settings. Also, if the USB drive was created in a manner that requires legacy boot, you may need to enable CSM or disable UEFI booting.

Sometimes, updating the BIOS/UEFI firmware can resolve compatibility issues. Check your motherboard manufacturer’s website for any BIOS/UEFI updates.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
