My company and Company A will use Teams Team(AAA-PJ)

I want to make the Teams team (AAAA-PJ) available only to My company and Company A's IP addresses.

Is this possible?

    @Kuronuma

    In Microsoft Teams (part of Microsoft 365), you can control access to Teams by setting various security and compliance policies. However, restricting access to a specific Teams team by IP address isn't directly supported within the Teams application itself. Instead, you would typically manage access to Teams on a broader level using Conditional Access Policies within Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). Here is a general approach on how you could set this up:

    1. Conditional Access Policies in Azure AD:
    • Sign in to the Azure portal.
    • Navigate to Azure Active Directory > Security > Conditional Access.
    • Create a new policy and give it a meaningful name.
    • Assign the policy to the users (or groups) from your company and Company A.
    • Under "Cloud apps or actions," select "Microsoft Teams."
    • Under "Conditions," configure the policy to include specific IP ranges. Here, you can specify the IP addresses of your company and Company A.
    • Under "Access controls," set the policies to either grant or block access based on the conditions you’ve configured.
    • Enable and enforce the policy.
    1. Teams Channel Moderation and Membership:
    • Ensure that only users from your company and Company A are members of the Teams team (AAA-PJ).
    • You can set up channel moderation to control who can post messages and interact within the team.

    While Conditional Access Policies can restrict access based on IP, keep in mind that users will need to access Teams through the specified IP ranges. This setup won't restrict users from joining the team if they are using authorized IP addresses elsewhere.
