Facing Issue with Authenticator App code mismatch

Question

i have microsoft authenticator App which is linked with my device, however, whenever i am getting any shared file to download, i have to open it with authenticator verification. And here lies all the problem. It tells me to entre the code displayed in the App and when i entre that code it gives me message that it is not matching. I have tried all combinations but not able to find the solution to this problem even with syncing date and time between the devices. Kindly suggest the solution if anyone has faced the similar issue and resolved it thanks
