I missed a renewal of my DevOps Engineer Expert certification, can I get another chance?

I received the renewal for DevOps Engineer Expert certification only 6 days before the deadline while my renewal for Azure Developer Associate was received 6 month before the deadline.

Now I have missed the renewal for DevOps Engineer Expert.

Can I get another option to do a renewal.

Or do I realy have take the exam all over again.

    Hi Bert,

    Official policy is you have to re-take the exam once the certification expires, however, it doesn't hurt to ask them to make an exception. To do that you need to contact a support moderator in Microsoft Credentials forum (they typically respond within 2 business days):
