Getting the error on extracting the Teams File MSTeamsSetup.gz: The archive is corrupt

Question

I have downloaded the teams app in my windows laptop from this official site:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/microsoft-teams/download-app

The file is downloaded in .gz format:

And When I extract the folder, then it gives me below error:

! C:\Users\Welcome\Downloads\Compressed\MSTeamsSetup.gz: The archive is corrupt

If Microsoft Teams fails to extract the installer, disable your antivirus and other programs running in the background. Equally important, make sure to run the installer with admin rights.
