Hi,

I have a WPF project based in Dublin, initially intended for approximately 100 users in Ireland, with plans to expand both inside and outside the EU over the long term. The business was established in September 2022.

I’d like advice on the best approach to signing the project and which certificate would be most suitable. Specifically:

  • Should I use Azure Trusted Signing?
  • Or would a certificate like EV, OV, IV/Standard, or Open Source be more appropriate?

Looking forward to your recommendations!

Best regards,

Mustafa

You can use a strong name to sign the app (sn.exe) but if you are selling the app it would be better to purchase a code signing certificate
