Teams recording bot - non-Azure installation

Hi,

I am working with a Teams recording bot - a bot that captures audio/video streams of Teams call participants (as per the teams-recording-bot-sample).

While the documentation (see docs) states that the bot should only be deployed on Azure, I have successfully deployed it on both an Azure VM and an AWS VM.

Could you please clarify whether deploying the bot on a non-Azure VM (e.g., AWS) is officially supported?

As you can see, the bot must be deployed on Microsoft Azure. If you deploy the bot on a non-Azure VM, this may cause some unexpected issues in the future.

For a more stable and better experience, we recommend that you deploy the bot on Microsoft Azure.
