Accidently, I have uninstalled the "Android" option of Other devices in "Device Manager". Tried updating the driver, restarting the system, troubleshooting the drivers but it was of no use.

Please recommend something.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

    1. Reconnect the Device:
      • Disconnect your Android device from your computer.
      • Restart both your computer and your Android device.
      • Reconnect your Android device to your computer and check if it gets detected.
    2. Install the Device Driver Manually:
      • Download and install the latest USB drivers for your Android device from the manufacturer's website.
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Look for any entries with a yellow exclamation mark under "Other devices" or "Unknown devices."
      • Right-click on the entry and choose "Update driver."
      • Select "Browse my computer for drivers" and navigate to the location where you saved the downloaded driver.
    3. Use a Different USB Port or Cable:
      • Try connecting your Android device using a different USB port on your computer.
      • Use a different USB cable to see if the issue is with the cable.
    4. Enable USB Debugging on Your Android Device:
      • On your Android device, go to "Settings."
      • Scroll down and select "About phone."
      • Tap on "Build number" multiple times until you see a message that says "You are now a developer!"
      • Go back to "Settings" and select "Developer options."
      • Enable "USB debugging."
    5. Reinstall Android Composite ADB Interface:
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Click on "Action" in the menu bar and select "Add legacy hardware."
      • Click "Next" and select "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)," then click "Next."
      • Scroll down and select "Android Device," then click "Next."
      • Select "Android Composite ADB Interface" and click "Next" to install it.

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best Regards,

    Yanhong Liu
