Error attempting to install vscode via intune on ARM devices

Question

I'm trying to install VSCode via Intune to Dell XPS ARM latops runing Win 11 pro.

I'm using the "Microsoft Store app (new)" app type

Select "Visual Studio Code" (package ID: XP9KHM4BK9FZ7Q)

The package deploys to the end client devices but fails saying the application on runs on x86 hardware. Downloading the .exe installer from the vscode website works fine.

Please fix the packaged MSI in the app store to work on ARM

From your description, I know you failed to deploy vscode via Intune on your devices.

To clarify the issue, please review the IntuneManagementExtension.log and others logs in the following link to see if there's more finding.

Moreover, since the .msi file of vscode was uploaded from somewhere else, we cannot fix the package, but you can contact the publisher to get more help.
