Unable to get started with Azure

Hi,

I'm creating an application which needs to connect to Microsoft apps. I'm using the Python msal library.

To achieve this, I believe I need to create a new entry in Entra ID.

However, when I navigate to Entra ID I get the following:

I then tried to get the Azure subscription to create a tenant but I can't even sign up as it fails to verify my phone number.

I've seen on forums that this seems to be a recurring issue now.

(the phone number has been omitted for privacy reasons)

Ok, then I tried to pay (just take my money) for office 365 but that fails as well, again on verifying the phone number.

The red text translates to: "We're sorry, we need more information to verify your identity. Please contact support".

Ok, I try to contact support, I get a 404 :)

Ok, let's not get discouraged, I phone up directly Microsoft in my country. After struggling to get past the bot, the person on the line tells me she can't do anything and I should raise a ticket.

Ok fair enough, I go back to Azure and try to raise a ticket...

There are no options, the "Next" button is greyed out (non clickable). I've tried different services that for sure exist ("virtual machines" for example) and I'm unable to get past this screen.

Overall I've tried with different emails, different phone numbers, my friend has tried all that as well, it just seems impossible. What am I supposed to do?? It seems like none of the basic flows (and money-generating flows) don't work, this is pretty insane.

Thanks in advance for the help.
