The video seems to be based on an older version of the Azure web interface. Currently, the Log Analytics view has a significantly different left navigation menu. Among other things, the video shows an "Advanced options" section that is absent in the current interface. It causes confusion when trying to reproduce the steps.
This obsolete interface also appears on screenshots in other sections of this learning module - Monitor Windows Server IaaS Virtual Machines and hybrid instances
