I tried to change access from authenticator app from my personal phone into my work phone.

i deleted my work email on my personal phone on the Authenticator app to hopefully get the access through my work phone but when it asks for the code, since I deleted my email on the Authenticator app it doesn’t pop up anymore either my work phone or personal phone.

When I tried putting my work email back on my personal Authenticator app on my phone, code does not pop up anymore

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A,

    1. Cloud Backup
      1. Since you've deleted your work account from the Authenticator app on your personal phone, you can attempt to restore it if you had previously enabled cloud backup
        1. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/back-up-account-credentials-in-microsoft-authenticator-bb939936-7a8d-4e88-bc43-49bc1a700a40#ID0EBJ=Android
    2. Contact org IT Support
      1. If the above steps don't resolve the issue, contacting your organization's IT support is advisable. They can reset the two-factor authentication:
        • Reset Your Two-Factor Authentication: This allows you to set it up afresh.
        • Provide Alternative Access Methods: Such as temporary codes or bypasses.
