Unable to enter the code when trying to log into my work email

I have recently reinstalled the authentication app and but it does not seem to work h same way. Previously as soon as I tried to log into my work email I as given a code and then the app would send /notify me of the request and I would jus enter the 2 sight code to authorise the access. Now, I am give the code by Outlook but have nowhere to enter it. Not sure if I am maybe not logged in properly to the auth. App, but my work account does appear when I open the app. Please advise as am unable to access my work email.
