Azure DB Single Server Public IP migration options

For Azure Database for PostgreSQL Single Server...The migration process needs to be performed to move it to the Flexible Server service. Supported network scenarios for migration are discussed here...

For a Single Server configured with a public "postgres.database.azure.com" (FQDN) address, What migration path to select for a Flexible Server that would also end up needing a public "postgres.database.azure.com" (FQDN) address? The options provided in the link above only seem to support Flexible Server with VNet or private endpoint.

To facilitate connectivity between an instance of Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Single Server that has public access and a VNet-integrated flexible server, configure the single server to allow connections from the subnet where the flexible server is deployed.

The Single server instance has a public "postgres.database.azure.com" (FQDN) address.

The Flexible server must also have a public "postgres.database.azure.com" (FQDN) address.

This is not mentioned by the document. How to handle this?

Both are managed services (Azure Database for PostgreSQL Single Server migrate to Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server). Both would have public "postgres.database.azure.com" (FQDN) address. This is not mentioned by the networking document. How to handle this?

What option did you choose for the single server?

I have successfully migrated my managed single server with public access to a flexible server configured as public access.

I have those same settings.

This section of the doc you mentions Network setup is crucial, and provides link to the Network guide.

So I navigate to the network guide and I see these supported scenarios...

Which one of these above applies to my setup that I have mentioned a few times now?
As I mentioned previously...My scenario is Migrate my existing Azure Database for PostgreSQL Single Server to Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server. Both would have public "postgres.database.azure.com" (FQDN) address. This is not mentioned by the networking document. How to handle this?

Issue: For a Single Server configured with a public "postgres.database.azure.com" (FQDN) address, what migration path to select for a Flexible Server that would also end up needing a public "postgres.database.azure.com" (FQDN) address?

Answer: If both are publicly accessed as you mentioned, so no further action needed at networking level.
