Epson Scan 2 failure - I want to confirm Windows 11 Pro deprication of OEM drivers for Scan integrations in deference to use Windows Scan, something I gained from reading threads in this forum. I just cannot live with Windows Scan.

User's image Since re-imaging after Crowdstrike Microsoft (MS) update failure on DELL Inspirion AMD64.

I have two User Profiles with both having the Epson Suite fully installed and the correct updated drivers with the researched path to them complete. I have run the Windows & Dell driver tools and not getting any failures, I also ran a very strong driver analysis tool gained off the web, all are showing clean which is skeptical in of itself.

In mitigating the fix I loaded Win Scan which was recommend in MS user questions I am using now but the application is very remedial, as reasoning the advice said 2nd half 2024 updates to Win Pro 11 no-longer supported OEM vendor software drivers.

I want to confirm with MS talented lurkers to see if the drivers are no-longer supported, I have no notices or further updates/grades from Epson for ET-3760 and it's accompany integration suite software.

Answer found, MS has deprecated 3rd party scanner drivers and now requires use of MS Scan App. Hits only some distributions since 2023.
