What is the effect of choosing a language while creating new entity in D365?

Question

What the effect of choosing a language while creating new entity in d365 not matched with the language chosen in the preferences ?
For example Arabic language chosen while the preferences sets the English as the app language , why the language didn't change while using the Arabic country ?
