why I cant change devtools windows size?

In the docked mode (whether positioned on the right or bottom of the browser window), attempts to resize the DevTools panel fail. The resize cursor may appear, but dragging the panel boundary does not change its size, or the resizing stops at a certain limit. This can result in the panel either being too small to view content comfortably or too large, taking up excessive space in the browser window.

Do you use macOS? We've heard there's similar issue specific to macOS recently.

You can also download Edge Insider channels like Canary channel to see if the issue has been fixed in preview versions.

If none of the above works, please send feedback or open an issue on DevTools repo.

Update:

The issue has been fixed on Edge Canary 134.0.3080.0. You can refer to this link: https://github.com/MicrosoftEdge/DevTools/issues/308.

You could download Canary version to test and expect the future release of Stable version.
