Hi! I have been having issues with my VM I created, it's awfully slow. I am just running one instance of Meta5 on it, does anyone know how I can resolve the error, "task couldn't be completed in the time allocated". How would one resolve this and also prevent a VM from constantly freezing?

    Hi Colin Kimble,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here
Based on your query, I understand your concern
what you are experiencing with freezes or performance issues after logging into your VM, it could be due to high resource usage from certain applications. These apps might consume too much CPU or memory, which can cause the VM to freeze or slow down. It's important to make sure the VM has sufficient resources like CPU, RAM, and disk space to handle the workload. If you are running applications that demand a lot of resources, consider adjusting the settings or limiting their usage. You can use tools like Azure Monitor to track resource usage and ensure everything is running smoothly. Try to restart once the VM sometimes issue might be resolve

    Please refer this below documentation

Troubleshoot Azure virtual machine performance on Linux or Windows

Additionally, optimizing your applications and queries, upgrading to SSDs for better performance, and enabling Azure Premium Storage might help reduce slowdowns caused by heavy disk usage. Checking the task manager CPU and RAM and enable diagnostic logs will help pinpoint specific issues that may be affecting the VM.

Please try above things once let me know if you are facing the still issue, please tag me in comment I will help you as needed.!
