Hello
Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.
Here are some steps you can:
- Check All Accounts:
Ensure you've checked all Microsoft accounts that might have been used on the laptop. Sometimes, the recovery key might be stored under a different account.
- Use the BitLocker Recovery Key:
• Go to the Microsoft Recovery Key page) and verify if any of the listed keys match the new Key ID.
• If you find a matching key, use it to unlock the drive.
- BitLocker Repair Tool:
• You can use the BitLocker Repair Tool to attempt to recover data from the encrypted drive. Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run:
• repair-bde C: X: -rp <Your 48-digit recovery password>
Replace C: with the drive letter of the encrypted drive and X: with the drive letter where you want to save the recovered data.
I hope the information above is helpful.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
Best Regards,
Daisy Zhou
