For SCIM Provisioning, The documentation states

TLS Protocol Versions

The only acceptable protocol version is TLS 1.2. No other SSL/TLS version is permitted.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/app-provisioning/use-scim-to-provision-users-and-groups#security-requirements

Does this exclude TLS 1.3? Are we expected to see failures when we use TLS 1.3 from client end?

What is the roadmap for supporting TLS1.3 for SCIM provisioning. Thanks

    Hi @Venu Reddy

Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

I understand you are asking whether TLS 1.3 is excluded by the requirement for TLS 1.2 in SCIM provisioning, if using TLS 1.3 will cause failures, and what the roadmap is for supporting TLS 1.3 in SCIM provisioning.

Currently, the only acceptable protocol version for SCIM provisioning is TLS 1.2. This means that TLS 1.3 is not supported for SCIM provisioning at this time. If you attempt to use TLS 1.3 from the client end, it may result in failures.

For updates on the roadmap for supporting TLS 1.3 in SCIM provisioning, please check https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/fundamentals/whats-new for monthly updates on Microsoft Entra releases and announcements.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

    Thanks,

    Navya.
