How do I get my money back if I withdrew it by mistake?

2025-01-20T12:45:39.31+00:00

I used subscription only for Microsoft Imagine Cup Learning, and cost is either by mistake or unintentional and not used for commercial purposes. Last month I was deducted $65, I tried to take off my card but they told me I had to cancel my subscription, I cancelled my subscription last month and I didn't use Azure during this period but this month I was also deducted $405. The invoice says that i use the machine learning service , but I never used this service. I hope you to help me

    Refer to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request

Azure provides unlimited support for subscription management, which includes billing, quota adjustments, and account transfers.

    Hello دانه بنت منصور الزهراني

Apologize for the inconvenience that may have caused.

We understand your predicament. However, after reviewing the issue, understand that it is necessary to raise a support request with Microsoft to obtain the exact details of your subscription spendings. because we cannot provide the direct root cause here as the invoice indicates usage of the machine learning service.

So, to get the precise consumption details of your subscription, you need to raise a support request with the azure billing team.

If you can't find the option or unable to create a support request, please follow the below steps.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request.

Note: you can even raise a support request from other subscription as well, but make sure to provide the charged subscription's details in the support request.

Rest assured that Microsoft will assist you in providing the proper justification.

Please let me know if you required anything!

    Thank you.

    Hello دانه بنت منصور الزهراني,

    Thanks for your question.

You can create a billing ticket by going https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket and selecting billing as described by others.

Or alternatively if for some reason you cannot access this, you can contact the global service numbers here and they can assist you and direct your billing request:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2
