Unable login to my Azure directory

Hey

My company has provided me an azure account. I also had enabled visual studio subscription, and had transferred to another directory(my directory).

Previous, I used to SSO to my directory from my company email id. But 2 months ago, SSo to my directory stopped working and now I am unable to login. Since it used to do SSO previously, I never had to remember the passwords for login.

I did set up MFA (multiple time and multiple ways of auth as well), but I dont receive the prompts on my authenticator app.

I reached out to company's IT team but they said they cant help me in this case. Neither is the microsoft contractor IT team.

Any help would be appreciated since I main use my directory to host resources for my research and learning needs. Right now I feel handicapped in this front.

Thanks

    Hello @SHIVA PRASAD R

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

I see that whenever you try to log in to the Azure Portal, you're being redirected to the MFA page. However, you are not getting any MFA prompt on your mobile's authenticator app.

Could you please confirm if you are the only global administrator in the tenant?

It appears that the authentication is directing you to the domain.onmicrosoft.com directory. Please verify whether this is the correct tenant ID. If it’s not, I recommend manually specifying your tenant by using either the tenant ID or domain name in the URL:

    • https://portal.azure.com/<domain.onmicrosoft.com>

Note: Be sure to replace <tenantID> and <domain.onmicrosoft.com> with your actual tenant ID or domain name.

Following these steps should redirect the authentication process to the correct directory. Please let me know if this resolves the issue.

If the issue still the same, try to access https://myaccount.microsoft.com/?tenant=<tenantID>. Replace with your tenantID or domain name.

I hope this clarifies things. Please contact us If you’re still facing difficulties, I’m here to help.
