System center service manager setup cannot complete

Question

hello guys am trying to install system center service manager, and I always get this error Configure registry settings "this upgrade attempt has failed before permanent modifications were made"

it comes after the DBs has been created and going start configuring database.

I get this error on the two servers when I try to install the Datawarehouse and management server as well.

Hi,

Please check the SCSMInstall.log file located in the %temp% folder. Look for any lines that read Return Value 3 and examine the lines above it for clues about what might have failed.
