Hi @Aran Billen
Currently, Teams supports team owners to rename the General channel to appear in alphabetical order in all member lists of teams and channels.
But you may also see this prompt: Once you rename this channel, you won't be able to change the name back to General. The name will update for all team members.
Therefore, if you have renamed the General channel by mistake, changing the channel name back to "General" is probably not supported since the name "General" will be treated as a reserved field. However, you can change the channel name to something else such as "General1" and select Recommends that people show this channel in their channel lists.
And you also mentioned that there is a problem with the file tab. Please try clicking "Expand tab" or "Reload tab". This solved the problem when I reproduced the problem of the file tab being blank.
If this still doesn't solve your problem, please try clearing the Teams cache.
Thanks for your understanding and patience.
