Can't Register Azure Free account + Azure Portal Bugged Out (Can't do anything)
Hello everyone,
My name is Marian and I am a freelance Data Engineer and I want to create a Proof of Concept data engineering solution on Azure (MS Fabric) for a potential client. I am however having multiple issues with my account and I am completely lost at this point and don't know what to do further.
The issue: I have an Azure account registered to my email address. I am able to login into Azure Portal, but when I try to sign up for Azure free trial to get the $200 free credits and get redirected to the Sign Up page I am unable to proceed further because of the Phone verification that fails with the message "We're unable to verify your phone number" that I've seen multiple people mentioning already in this post:
I tried everything mentioned in the post (Selecting Alternative Phone number, Signing-Up on mobile phone in an incognito window while being on mobile data and not WiFi etc.), but everything ends with the same error message. I've also tried to raise a support request as that was mentioned in the thread that the Support team is quite fast with the help there, but here I am facing another issue. When I log into my Azure Portal and try to raise a support request I am unable to proceed further because of this message (that I attached as the screenshot).
Is there anyone else that experienced a similar issue/s that I am facing and would be able to help me out? I am absolutely lost and don't know what to do anymore because the deadline to deliver the POC is getting closer and it is really frustrating that such a simple thing as a sign up can be made so complicated and cause multiple issues.
