Approval Requests no Longer Show on Channel

Hello,

We have been using several approval templates in one of our Teams channels and after December 20, 2024, the requests no longer show on the channel posts page nor on the dashboard. After submitting, the requestor sees a message that says, "your approval request is being created", and the request no longer shows up. We experimented by going directly to the Dashboard where we were able to post the request, but again, it was not visible on the channel. We have:

  • Cleared the Teams cache
  • Reset the apps
  • Deleted files

And we have not changed settings or permissions. Any ideas?

    Hi @Ana Thompson

    Could you please tell me:

After the approval is sent, can the approver receive a reminder in the Activity?

If the approval template is not used, can the manually created approval be displayed normally?

To use the Approvals app, you need a license for Power Automate. Please contact the admin to check whether the Power Automate license of the user who created the approval has expired in the M365 admin center.
