Why do i keep getting an error saying "sysmon can't run on my pc"?

I tried installing sysmon on my windows 11 machine but each time i type in the command on cmd to install it as directed by Microsoft i keep getting an error massage saying the app can't run on my pc

Uninstall and then reinstall the application.

During installation run the application as Administrator.

Please try running sysmon as administrator. Right-click on sysmon.exe and select "Run as administrator" to see if it can run normally. Also check for the local or domain group policy applied on your machine that prevents the app from running.

For Windows 11, you should extract both sysmon and sysmon64. I suspect that you only extracted sysmon.exe which is the 32 bit version.
